How to interpret oncology randomized clinical trials... in french!

Recently, I published a paper in la Revue Médicale Suisse, which is the leading continuing education journal in the French-speaking world, and is publishing peer-review articles in french.

In this article, I provide key points to look at, beyond complex statistics, when approaching a trial. Those familiar with Vinay Prasad’s and our research team works won’t be surprized! Those are:

• inclusion/exclusion criteria: are they mirroring clinical practice?

• optimal control arm?

• optimal post-progression therapy?

• how to approach phase 2 results (and the risk of spurious results)?
